i'm the one who had to learn to build a heart made of vomit

PILLS PILLS PILLS
i used to think i was quite a "healthy" person (physically, not emotionally ofc) but after working in a nursery and keeping my head above water, i really don't think i am. these bugs that fly around work fucking slaughter me when i get them and today has been no exception. i'm a trembling, stuttering, sweaty, furious, smelly, vomiting mess. why can't i just down some beechams and get on with my fucking day? what really made today special was falling over in the shower and being sick on myself.

if it makes you happy then why the hell are you so sad?

50% sat fat NO REGRETS
if today was a person, i would punch them right in the gooch. now that we've got the negativity out of the way, what the fuck can i talk about? i'm struggling for ideas recently and would love some feedback. maybe i'll make a poll or a quiz? something alone those lines? would you guys be into that? can i ask any more questions here? is it likely that you'd reply? is it socially/dietarily acceptable that i've eaten a whole packet of biscuits in one sitting today? WHO ARE YOU TO JUDGE?

it starts with a picture and it sits in your frame

statement pink but that's okay
having my picture taken is not my favourite thing in the world. in fact, it's probably near the bottom of "my favourites" list - i know i look bad most of the time, i don't need a photo to immortalise it. but that's not to say i hate photos. i fucking love them. that one tiny image can hold a million memories that come flooding back. sometimes it's heartbreaking (smash cut to me at 3am, stalking my ex boyfriend) but sometimes it's really really lovely. and that's exactly what i aimed for when i bought my polagram box. it arrived today and, honestly, it's made my week already.

gotta get down on friday

my potential friday face
it's the end of the week and that can only mean one thing, right? eat loads of crunchies and cry about being single. if that's not what you're into, maybe hang out with some friends and have a few (hundred) cocktails. if you're poor/off the booze/socially inept/a closeted introvert/a maniac (delete as applicable), here i give you the IDEAL WEEKEND IN. and what a weekend it could turn out to be. it also has every potential to ruin your life and set you back years but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

and there's a chapter that i keep on trying to read

what's in the box?
it's been a while since we spoke about reading and how amazing it is so, now that it's long overdue, we're going in hard. i'm talking balls deep. sorry, that was too much. wondering what this magical box is full of? keep reading, all will be revealed. (it will but it's a big anticlimax so i won't think ill of you if you go now. go on, off you go before i change my mind)

the rest is still unwritten

flowers made out of words!
it's scientifically proven that reading books in your spare time makes you more intelligent and attractive to just about everybody* and it's something which i neglected until recently. as an overweight, emotionally delayed tweenager, i loved the escape that came attached to a new story and would sit in my room for hours on end churning through pages of vampire slaying action just to head back out straight after to buy another one. i might be a bit slimmer at the start of my adulthood but very little else has changed.
