spread the word: today was a good day! aside from my imaginary ovaries aching in some kind of sympathy period pain for one of the babes i work with, it was actually alright. i got shit done, i was in good spirits and i've come home to new shoes so what more could i need? me me me that's enough of that. it got me (sorry) thinking about the bigger picture and in particular other people who are going through all kind of madness and still maintain a positive frame of mind.

today, i'm not going to talk about how astronomically awful work was. i'm going to focus on the good things because that's what should be important. know what makes a lot of people happy (myself included)? buying things. stupid things. things we'll never need or use or look at again. but having something new to call your own is as exciting as it is affirming. know what else brings joy? music. so let's talk about those two things tonight. it's easy and it's probably boring but forget the haters 'cuz somebody loves ya.

i spent £55 in primark yesterday WAIT COME BACK and i managed to blag nearly my own body weight in completely inessential inappropriate indecent items. shopping alone is maybe one of my all time favourite things to do. crack on some embarrassing pop, shut out the world and attack those rails like they're going out of style because they probably are.
