i wish all those lazy days were everyday

read on to find out what's inside
and here begins my week off of work! by the looks of things, it's set to be a bloody busy one. i've got lots of exciting things in the pipeline and i started as i meant to go on today. it's late and i'm in quite good spirits after a lovely evening so i'm going to tell you all about my day & future week and we can all have a lovely time then come back in seven days to see if i've done nearly as much as i wanted to. deal? let's just agree not to be disappointed when i inevitably end up laying in bed for 5 of my 7 days off. now that's a deal.

well "what the fuck are you so happy about?" plenty, tyvm

i met my favourite in town and i ended up booking more tattoos for tuesday. short notice but i know what i want and i've got time off of work so it's now or never (/now or much later so now is good. that's a film isn't it? yeah, it's got an ellie goulding song in it FOCUS MITCH). part of alice's 21st birthday present was a tattoo from me so i was bullying her into booking something too but she's a tough cookie and held off until a better time. i've said it before and i'll say it again - i like a girl that knows her mind.

dat elbow doe
we went and had some drinks after. non alcoholic of course but that figurative boat was pushed out in favour of a cold coffee and sugar full coke. it tasted like sweets and that's fine by me. so, we opted to go and buy more sweets. an "ultimate sharer cup"'s worth actually. just for me. i bought several hundred envelopes to write more people and a mario goody bag. we also spent far too much money on tiny pieces of metal for our body.

briefly, let's look at "what the fuck are you reading?"

this might be fun/terrifying
and it's this little number here. given away free whilst we were roaming through town, i'm hoping it can offer up a few shortcuts. i read the bible a bit when i was younger (fat and naive) but i've paid little attention to it as an adult. i'm not particularly religious but i think it's good to be educated about these things. i love the idea of the morals in the old testament, all quite badass, but don't know much about its relevance in 2014. i figure this is as interesting as it is enlightening and hopefully not too delusional or cult-like.

and now "what the fuck is that like?"

after a busy old day in town, i was ready for a sleep. but instead, i raced to bath (the busiest city in the UK today because of the races and uni open days and it being a saturday and delayed trains) for an overdue mandate. i haven't had a mandate in too long a time and this particular man i dated is spectacular. i was anxious beforehand, it was a busy commute and the city was fucking heaving, but once we got talking, everything was alright. we ate at giraffe, a personal favourite, and the penang bang salad/banana dessert are fucking tasty. the catch up was perfect and it's really motivated me to get out and see my real friends more, especially this little (he's over 6 foot tall) handsome devil. boys boys boys WE LOVE THEM. (there's no photo of us because we both hate ourselves, sorry xo)

it's been a hectic day but one that feels rewarding. i've seen two wonderful people, planned things to be excited about, spent money, eaten good food (thanks for that btw mr. gould) and wore my new blazer out. what a life i lead. next week i want to get a haircut, be tattooed, try to restart writing my book (?!), send lots of letters, read more blogs (and real life books), celebrate my dad's birthday and attend a wedding. sweet.

TOMORROW IS COMPETITION DAY holy shit so expect lots of words about you wonderful lot and maybe even some prizes and letters being sent your way because that's how we do it here.

oh god almost forgot. here's what was in my mario bag.

i don't want any of these things
...anticlimactic, i'm sure you'll agree.
