nobody loved me like you

thanks mum xo
well look at that, christmas is over for another year and we're all feeling a bit fatter and probably depressed that our next break is a year away. but we've still got a while until the new year so let's make the most of what we've got. i, for one, had a fucking lovely christmas - spent it, as always, with my family, seeing a few special people amidst my mum's hitler regime for the day. one of those special people is someone you may or may not know so it's time to get everything off my chest before 2015.

hold onto anything just so you don't crash

down but not out yet
there comes a time when it dawns on you just how much progress you've made and everything you're working towards feels that much closer. it'd fill me with a lifetime of happiness to tell you today is that day but it feels quite the opposite. it's a benchmark that i don't want to reach again: a step backwards to a new low. but this whole blog, every crude word and badly edited picture of it, is meant to be working towards something positive. so let's take a look at where do we go from here (#imogen heap)

just as long as i'm the name on your tattooed heart

hummingbird heartbeat
i'm definitely one to "get back on the horse" and after tuesday's inky savaging of my side, i was keen to get back into the tattoo studio and make sure i wasn't put off. this time, i let jon scar my thigh which is a lot fleshier than my bony hip. also here's a nice picture of the hummingbird which tore me apart so ruthlessly. it's called "valentine" in honour of my dad - we're both very small, hardy, adaptable and deceitfully "strong". cheers gaz, you're the best.
