it's the eye of the tiger

teagan would be proud
hey guess what i'm a hippy now. perhaps a sweeping statement but one that introduces a new, fickle and "magical" interest of mine rather splendidly. after my run in with teagan the rune reader and her all too accurate depiction of my life, i've taken her advice and am attempting to "reconnect" with crystals which i used to hoard when i was but a child. somewhere down the line, i'm hoping i either realise a) they're helping and i become a fully fledged psychic like she said i would be or b) i stop wasting my money on heavy stones.

"what the fuck have you bought?" really though.

i've bought some crystals. they're cheaper/faker than you'd imagine but i'm doing everything in my power (lol divinity pun) to give them a chance. i'm a big old sceptic when it comes to anything magical/ mystical/ supernatural/ otherworldly but i've got nothing to lose here really. except pride and money. but those two are easy to come by, right?

this is really really nice, isn't it?
i've gone into this blind so i'm relying on the advice of potential witches that thrive on selling stones to young gay men and also the internet community - both of whom are well known to be sane. doing some research, i consciously sought out the crystals which battle depression, negativity and anxiety. apparently, tiger's eye is "full of earth and sun energy to promote a positive attitude and joy. use with the solar plexus chakra to attract wealth and success" and FRANKLY i could do with a lot of that if i knew what it meant. so i bought this genuinely beautiful bracelet made of real life tiger's eye by real life buddhists. if it doesn't work, at least it looks fucking sweet.

there you go. got any crystals lying about? i wish i could tell you what to do but i'm immediately dumbfounded. apparently, immersing them in natural, fast flowing water re-energises them so if that's any help at all then you're welcome i guess xo
