i (don't) like mondays

serious bonding with diego
it may be the first day of the working week but my "monday blues monday poos" were nowhere to be seen because I'VE GOT THREE DAYS OFF THIS WEEK. sorry guys but it turns out that having a breakdown and forgetting about your annual holiday until the end of the year means lots of impromptu long weekends that can be spent doing lots of lovely things. so i started as i mean to go on and did a few nice things which i'm going to tell you about. i hope your mondays were alright though.

"what the fuck is that like?"

too much or just enough? (too much)
i went for dinner at "the hole in the wall" near thekla tonight with a lovely man from bath. we chatted for ages about all sorts of things and ate some food. i can't speak for mr gould but i had salad which was fucking divine and his pork and scallops looked good too. we shared a sharing platter for dessert (rule breakers, i know) which was as intense as it was overwhelming. if we hadn't have waited for nearly an hour to pay and leave, i would've given it 5 stars but davide just wasn't on the ball when the riff raff came in. but that's okay.

"what the fuck are you so happy about?"

what a delight, thanks rob xo
good company // baking cakes // i'm a celebrity get me out of here! // animal documentaries // procrastination // taylor swift songs // bus journeys // books // "just because" presents // imogen heap // new bed sheets // organisation // sleepy hamsters // drinking from my aquarium beaker // dry shampoo // yankee candles // boy talk // black clothes // the list goes on. it's just been a lovely day.

"what the fuck is that song?"

it's "clean" by taylor swift which is probably the best track on 1989. it's co-written and produced by our very own imogen heap and the more i listen to it, the more i realise how obvious that is. lots of watery metaphors about the end of a relationship which will be too close for some of us i'm sure but it's really just a good song. "the rain came pouring down. when i was drowning, that's when i could finally breathe. and by morning, gone was any trace of you. i think i am finally clean" consider these lyrics added to yesterday's post xo
