as it turns out, i really will never be healthy again. spent last night and most of this morning stuck somewhere in between the conscious and unconscious realms - not sure i've slept for 12 hours or none at all. all i know is i listened to a lot of music in the dark and it was quite the surreal experience. music (and emotions) are a lot more raw at night and so i've been thrown from pillar to post listening to the likes of olly murs, birdy, escape the fate, pentatonix, ariana grande, jack garratt and so much more.

just because it's easy "what the fuck is that song?"

well there's a few so let's just get on with it and not fuck about, eh? these songs aren't new or necessarily good but there'll be one paragraph of information about each song and why you might enjoy it. who knows, you'll probably end up hating them but any emotional response is good news. it means you're human.

artist: pentatonix 

song: "that's christmas to me" 

why you might like it: it's about christmas. it's also entirely a-cappella which is impressive.

artist: olly murs
song: "did you miss me?"
why you might like it: it starts off with so much promise. real 80s vibe, not unlike our own MJ. it quickly becomes another average murs song by the over-horned chorus which people really need to get over. 

artist: miley cyrus

song: "maybe you're right"

why you might like it: because it's a good pop song. it's sort of dark and gets lost in a lot of "bangerz"' filler. as we all know, in 2014, sad miley songs are the best and her voice really shines on this track.

arist: i am ghost

song: "killer likes candy"

why you might like it: you probably won't but this was my fucking jam back in '06/'07 and i forgot how sentimental angry emos make me. 

artist: girls aloud

song: "on the metro"

why you might like: because girls aloud were one of the best girl groups of all time and this song was on their greatest hits as a new track so too many people ignored it. it's one of their less subtle tracks but does that mean it's bad? far from it, it's probably great to kiss boys to. 

that's it. sorry. maybe tomorrow i'll feel better and write something of substance. don't get your hopes up though because, the state i'm in, it's more likely that i'll wake up with a full head of hair xo
