but what's missing? |
i am a little man. not much over 5"6 and quite slim which bodes well with me. from a young age, i've fucking loved the look of blazers on people. not just loved in a sense that i like it on men but i like it more when they take it off along with the rest of their clothes. but loved it in a sense that it embodies maturity, masculinity, confidence, professionalism and so much more. men look good in suits. and that's no lie.
eeeurgh "what the fuck are you on about?"
but poor old mitchy was always too small for one. they never fit. maybe they did when i wore age 8 clothes but never during my adolescence have i owned a jacket. well, today i do. and guess what. it fucking fits. i had a proper bitch fit attacking every rail in every single reputable (and non reputable) clothes shop looking for a blazer that didn't swallow me whole and make my arms look grotesquely short compared to my body. thanks to all the average joes who shop on asos, one little jacket was left in my size. it was £40ish down from £90 which is reasonable and i just took a stab in the dark and bought it.
sneaky glimpse of this beauty |
wearing it turns me into a modern day jessie j (feeling sexy and free, c'mon guys) and i cannot wait to look vaguely presentable now. WHAT A DAY. it might be nothing to you (translation: of course it means nothing to you) but i feel like this is a big day in me growing up. am i still growing up? good lord, i don't know if i am. but this item is a bridge between today and the rest of my life. nbd.
there must be something musically relevant today. of course there is.
"what the fuck is that song?"
"what the fuck is that song?"
it's grown woman by beyonce, a personal highlight from her fifth album. and this performance was, rather fittingly (get it? because my jacket fits? no? okay), FLAWLESS. wow, i even disappointed myself there.
